Marvin Mims Jr. could be in line for a significant payday if he delivers another strong season in 2026, with the Broncos wide receiver entering the final year of his rookie contract.
With the wide receiver market continuing to climb, Mims' value appears to be trending upward. According to The Denver Post, several NFL agents believe Mims could earn more than $10 million per year on the open market.
"He does have some production as a receiver, and he's young," an anonymous NFL agent said. "I believe he's only going to get better with the quarterback and the system."
And it's not just his receiver upside that has agents talking, his return ability could push that number even higher.
"When you add the All-Pro return ability, that only raises his value. Depending on how he plays this year, he should definitely be in the eight figures annually," an NFL agent added, as per Luca Evans of The Denver Post.

One agent estimated his value could reach between $11 million and $13 million annually, especially if he puts together a bigger season as both a receiver and return specialist. The conversation comes as Mins enters the final year of his rookie contract.
While his role on offense has been inconsistent since Denver traded up to draft him in the second round in 2023, head coach Sean Payton has repeatedly said he wants to see the receiver more involved.
"He doesn't need to convince us. Every week when we go into game-planning, his name comes up. Every time we give him those opportunities down the field, he takes advantage of them. He's been very consistent," Payton said during Broncos minicamp in June.
Another agent believes Mims' value could climb even higher if his receiving number improves.
"If he does what he did return-wise and gets up to around 40 or 50 catches, he should get a real nice, hefty raise," the agent told The Denver Post.
The next few months could go a long way in shaping what comes next for both Mims and the Broncos.
Marvin Mims Jr. stays ready as contract year begins.
Marvin Mims Jr. had never complained about his role. Since the Broncos traded to draft him in the second round in 2023, his touches have come in bursts, but he's continued to stay ready.
"Things might not go the way I want 'em to go. That's 90% of players in the league. At the end of the day, when my number's called, when my opportunity comes, I gotta be ready for it," Mims said in December, per Evans of The Denver Post.
He ranked second among NFL receivers with 4.5 yards of average route separation in 2025 and finished the postseason with 12 catches for 155 yards over Denver's final two games after injuries expanded his role.
Denver is also looking to reduce his kickoff return workload, allowing him to focus more on offense while continuing to handle punt return duties.
"We're going to get a chance to do special things this year," said Mims. "So I want to do that, have fun and just enjoy. After the season, or during the season, depending on my agent, we'll see what happens."
Mims has made it clear that winning remains his immediate focus, but another productive season could leave Denver with an even bigger contract decision once the year comes to an end.
