The new chapter of the Denver Broncos could grant fans exclusive seat security, at a cost, of course. For the franchise's privately funded stadium at Burnham Yard to move forward, team president Damani Leech has hinted that Personal Seat Licenses (PSLs) are the most likely path to help finance the project.

“It seems like it’s a pretty likely thing to happen, but we haven’t made any formal decisions on that,” Leech said on Saturday.

In the NFL, this is not a foreign idea. PSLs have become a standard funding tool for modern stadium developments throughout the last decade. They are sold essentially to cover the cost of construction.

The one-time licenses grant fans the right to purchase season tickets for designated seats. Those who buy PSLs normally gain early entry to tickets for other events taking place at the stadium. They can also sell the season tickets if they choose to give them up.

During Damani Leech's media availability during Broncos training camp, he spoke about the vision of the new stadium. Although the organisation is eyeing late 2031 as the inauguration of the stadium, they have not yet determined how the PSL program would be structured.

Questions regarding the cost, whether every seat would have a PSL, and how they’ll operate remain unanswered. For the Broncos, selling PSLs would provide a significant source of private capital to offset construction costs while limiting reliance on outside funding.

While Broncos fans prepare for PSLs to become part of the franchise's transition to its new home, Leech offers a positive indication of hosting a Super Bowl sometime after the new stadium opens.

Broncos eye hosting Super Bowl

The Denver Broncos' president, Damani Leech, spoke out about the organisation’s intention to host a Super Bowl soon after the initial phase one development of the Burnham stadium is complete and it’s operating as per their vision.

“I don’t think we’re thinking that we need to wait until the end of the full development occurs,” Leech commented, according to Mile High Sports.

The full development of the stadium, including phase two, three, four and so on, will take a much longer time than the organisation would like to wait for before hosting a Super Bowl.

 “I think that’s not realistic and probably somebody who’s just impatient wouldn’t want to wait that long either. I think it’s fine to consider doing a Super Bowl earlier on after the stadium opens than later.” Damani Leech confirmed.

Although this is present, Leech also told the media that club officials don’t think about it every day.
