After the 14-3 season, the Denver Broncos saw some off-field success as well. They have reached a historic milestone that proves their supporters’ loyalty.

“Broncos set club record with 99.5% season-ticket renewal rate," reported Denver Broncos Chief Communications Officer Patrick Smyth on X on April 30.

Following a dominant season, the team secured the AFC's top playoff seed with a 19-3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, even though, in the end, they lost to the New England Patriots. Yet the renewal rate increased.

This is the highest mark on record for the team, according to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. The increase has surpassed their previous average of 97.7% and last year’s 98% rate.

“It’s certainly the strongest demand that I’ve seen,” said Damani Leech, who was hired as the team’s president in August 2022. ”

Normally, higher prices can cause some fans to cancel, but demand for Broncos tickets remains unaffected. According to Gabriel's reports, more than 107,000 people are currently waiting for season tickets from the club.

This near-perfect retention comes even as season-ticket prices increased by an average of 9%. The willingness of fans to pay more demonstrates their deep commitment and excitement following the team's success under coach Sean Payton.

By reaching the AFC Championship game, the Broncos have rekindled memories of their glory years and established themselves as serious Super Bowl contenders.

With the team now positioned as a legitimate threat in the league, fans are eager to secure their spots at Empower Field at Mile High.

Reason for the High Demand Among Denver Broncos Fans

Broncos’ fans who will want to buy a season ticket will have to face a long wait. Almost everyone who already has tickets will decide to keep them for the 2026 season. As per reports, 99.5% of people renewed their seats. This means that out of a stadium that holds 76,000 people, only about 400 spots opened up for everyone else.

Demand is likely soaring because the 2026 home schedule features several marquee matchups. Although there are only eight regular-season home games this year, the lineup of opponents is especially appealing.

With rivals like the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders, Denver will host several top-tier teams and the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Because the games look so promising, current ticket holders are holding onto their seats tighter than ever.

Along with the strong home schedule, the team has continued upgrading the stadium experience for fans. Upgraded food and beverage selections paired with top-level entertainment create an atmosphere that keeps supporters coming back every year.
