Meanwhile, Bo Nix had a clear message for those questioning the Broncos. Following the victory, CBS reporter Evan Washburn asked Nix about the outside pressure surrounding the team.

Nix responded that he did not pay much attention to the criticism:

"Well, honestly, I didn't really hear much of it. That's for people that listen to it. But it's either crisis or carnival. There wasn't much else to talk about, I guess, so we just responded in the right way."

Nix stressed that the Broncos never lost confidence in their approach. He also made it clear they did not panic after the disappointing opening-week result.

"We knew we were fine. We weren't going to panic, and we had a great home opening win."

The Broncos finished the game with a much stronger second-half performance.
