FanDuel Sportsbook recently ranked the NFL's top 10 rising quarterbacks entering the 2026 season, placing Bo Nix fourth behind Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, and Drake Maye. But some are placing him even higher in that list.

Sports Illustrated's Chad Jensen has a very different take. He would put Nix at the top among the Year 2/Year 3 quarterbacks.

“While Maye, Williams, and Daniels may have the individual accolades (Rookie of the Year/Pro Bowl/All-Pro nods), none of them have come even close to out-producing Nix over the past two years,” Jensen wrote as per the SI.com article.

Jensen is not wrong. Nix is the only quarterback in NFL history to win 20-plus games while passing for 7,500-plus yards and 50-plus touchdowns in his first two seasons.

On top of that, he and Russell Wilson are tied for the most regular-season wins by a QB in the first two seasons at 24.

Former Broncos All-Pro safety Justin Simmons, reflecting on the 2024 season, admitted that Bo Nix is a class apart from the other QBs.

“No disrespect to any other quarterbacks, but from his class, [Nix is], like, by far the best."I think he's playing better than all of them," Simmons told Kay Adams earlier this offseason, in the same report, as per SI.

Simmons argues that when the numbers do the talking, Nix might just outshine every quarterback in the class.

That said, while the conversation arouznd Bo Nix is positive for now, can he perform even better this season, considering his ankle injury?

Bo Nix brushes aside ankle concerns with confidence

After months of rehab, the Broncos quarterback, Bo Nix, finally broke his silence, offering an encouraging update on the ankle injury that cut short his playoff run after Denver's Divisional Round win over the Bills.

When asked whether he was confident about his recovery, Nix said he had never felt better.

"They say it's back healthy as good as new, and I hadn't really been like that in a couple years," Nix said with a smirk earlier this month, as per the NFL on June 16th, "so, my concern is I may move around a little bit better. It's a broken bone, for crying out loud."

While his confidence is genuine, the recovery process hasn't been entirely smooth. Nix revealed that he experienced swelling caused by bone spurs, but recently underwent a cleanup procedure on his ankle. Now, he's confident he'll be fully ready by training camp.

"Just like each and every year, I want a great completion percentage, put the ball in play and have very few turnovers," Nix further said. "But at the end of the day, you can ask every quarterback that question, they want to win the Super Bowl and MVP. So that's going to be my goal now each and every year."

With his sights set on a Super Bowl title, Nix is aiming to win it all this year. Will he be able to? Only time will tell.
